Windows computers aren’t the only type of computers to freeze. I’ve had to hold down power to shutdown my MacBook and my Linux desktop. It’s usually GPU related. The Intel macbook I used to used would freeze if you plugged it into a monitor while it was sleeping. About once a month my Linux desktop will wake up from sleep and then freeze and I’ll have to hit the reboot button on the front panel.
