The most likely cause of the slow boot is the usb dongle.

Yes exactly. If they would just get out of the way things would work smoothly.
The other part of the problem is the whole corporate hoop jumping thing where they choose whatever is safest… All people must watch or read X thing such that we can automatically checkbox that they did it… I’m case we get sued… If they get hurt by doing the job we don’t have to pay because we told them it was possible. But how can this be accomplished across the globe? Via an automated video ofcourse! But send it at midnight!
