Although I (mostly) started with a NES I was always an arcade / Sega kid. As such sonic was cool although I always admitted that regarding the games sonic mostly couldn’t even come close to Mario.

However there were really good games, arcadey and also with awesome music which is important to me.

The MD Sonics were the good ones and also the ones on the GBA/DS. I never really cared much for the (lots of misfired) 3D attempts or spinoffs.

Mostly. Except for sonic racing all stars transformed which is imo one of the greatest cart racers of all times and including awesome arcade crossover tracks including the music… Awesome!
