To be fair, most of us that are online often, are well aware of this. This decade seems to be the decade to sever ties with major corps and switch over to FOSS.
Lemmy has quite a lot of FOSS related communities to check out. !foss@infosec.pub , !foss@lemmy.world , !foss_keyboards@programming.dev
I’d like to add !PurchaseWithPurpose@lemmy.world as there are good guides for alternatives to the mega corporation software there. You can alternatively check out purchasewithpurpose.io for all of the suggestions.
Also, check out opensourcealternative.to , as it provides a wider selection of categories for FOSS apps to chose from.
