HasturInYellow@lemmy.world 1 day agoYou know, it makes sense that allowing a group of people to psychological torment and abuse the entire worlds population would lead to some unhealthy outcomes, yes. Advertisers are manipulating and corrupting every single person’s mind, attempting to instill all sorts of emotions and desires. Surely NOTHING could go wrong right? Surely no one would be driven to LITERAL PSYCHOSIS ABOUT IT.
SURELY NOT.

Everything can cause some to overreact, doesn’t mean that everything is evil.
If ads (or anything, really) bother you so much, you should seek help.
