Is because he didn’t make a trillion dollars. And it didn’t make the 2nd trillion dollars. That money doesn’t exist in his account.
Now if he sold assets and tried to liquidate them he would have the money. But on the last 4 days his assets and income has not changed in quantity.

He wouldn’t have the money even if he tried to liquidate. Appraisal and valuation ≠ actual value or actual total funds. Hence Elon hanging a hard time gathering 1bil let alone a trillion.

I agree. He owes 40 billion still on Twitter alone. If he liquidated he would be bankrupt.
