Comment on Is all Hollywood Casting all the same? From like just a side character up to like James Bond or Superman? Or are big names like those is casting different?

I’ve often wondered about movies where the whole cast are big name actors. For example, a movie I saw called Office Christmas Party. Was that movie written specifically for a bunch of big name actors to star in? Or was it written and then big name actors auditioned?
