I’d rather them just have safe places to sleep than clog up the psych ward. I wanna provide a safe comfy playpen for people so manic / psychotic they don’t know their ass from a hole in the ground then release them safely back into the world to continue a fulfilling existence once they come out of it. Instead we have a rotating roster of homeless people trying to figure out the right thing to say to prolong their stay as much as possible then literally threatening to kill me when they have to follow the rules meant to keep the manic / psychotic people safe from themselves.
