What ever you want to call it the EU Parliament was founded 10 September 1952 if you want to be generous the first election that shows continuity of leadership was 1979 well before the fall. en.wikipedia.org/…/1979_European_Parliament_elect…

That was the European Parliament, not the EU parliament. Words have meaning.

Its the same Parliament as the current Parliament there is no such thing as the EU Parliament. Word do have meaning and you need to learn to read.
