Comment on Why when I rent an Apt I need to have the electric turned on first? I spent my first year of contracting living out my car to save all the money I could. Shouldn't the land lord do that not you?

I love in British Columbia and electricity is a provincial utility organization. I would prefer all utilities be run by the government
