LovableSidekick@lemmy.world 1 day agoInteresting. To me feeling overfed is not a good feeling. The few times I’ve said, “Tonight I’m gonna have a real FEAST!” I’ve always felt terrible later. All-you-can-eat places are a waste of money for me.

The feeling itself usually isn’t uh, great. The fullness hurts. But there a lot going on. Consuming feels great because of an overabundance of brain chemicals (the act of eating and tasting). Waste feels horrific because of upbringing. So you get use to the discomfort because of the rest. But it still doesn’t help because it’s not great. It’s also complicated and probably per person. There’s probably more but I just woke up from a nightmare. Not about food though lol.
