nycki@lemmy.blahaj.zone 2 weeks agoif that were the case they could just write “no canned beverages” or “no drinks without resealable lids” etc. there’s no reason to bring booze into it at all. so if that was their intent then this is really poor communication.

I assume VT is like what I’ve read about the USA where people can’t walk around outside with open alcohol.
Other canned drinks can just be brought out when you’re leaving, but you need to try to conceal beer. That’d lead to unnecessary spills.
