Comment on If people hate Trump so much they try to assassinate him don't they know it will have the opposite effect and turn him into a Martyr?

I’m having a hard time believing that any individual has tried to assassinate him at this point, the media has shown hapless and thin veiled proof to this day. It seems a non serious leader attracts non serious would be assassins, those who strangely hold the same right wing leanings.

I feel like the types of people who are smart enough to succeed also understand it’s not a guarantee you’ll get away with it or survive. Most people want to survive.
