jmill@lemmy.zip 3 weeks agoSome of the cheap ones aren’t real bone conduction. After a fake pair I bought a pair of Shokz, wear them in the shower all the time, usually after getting them (and myself) sweaty.

Well, I can hear mine just fine underwater so whether they are real or not never passed my mind

Yeah, I got a pair that claimed bone conduction, but just has little speakers that play into the air. Can hear them just as well next to your head as wearing them. Didn’t try them under water, they have little speaker holes. They work as emergency backups.
