As someone who has always lived in the burbs, I know what you mean. But the way I look at it, if someone is too snobby to visit me and always expects me to be the one making the effort to visit them, then thatâs not a great friendship and itâs ok if it tapers off. Itâs also good if you can make some local connections. Thereâs sports clubs, book clubs, community garden groups, etc depending on what youâre into.
