Seems low. If AI layoffs lead to mass unemployment, obviously there’s going to be social unrest. And yeah, obviously AI isn’t going to lead to mass prosperity if governments continue to refuse to implement some kind of basic income.

Reduce working hours could also work. 40 down to 20 hours work a week, double the number of jobs!
Yes I know it’s not quite that simple but the idea of reducing the work week would stand.
