    Acknowledging that tankie is a pejorative for those who support socialists states would be incorrect. I am defending communists, just not tankies. Im a little sad that you cant seem to untie the two from one another :(

      Nah, tankie is a pejorative for those that support existing socialist states, which applies to the overwhelming majority of communists. Trying to untie them is just a way to pretend you don’t oppose communism and thus save face on a platform with lots of leftists.
