  Maybe, maybe not. As a Christian myself I have often more in common spiritually with Buddhists or members of other religions, Occidental or Oriental, than with this kind of Christian. And if A ≈ B and A ≠ C, probably B ≠ C.

    Honestly I think it’s a total mixup. Every major religion has variations of understanding, whether the differences are systematic or chosen personally.

    There’s a very high chance Jesus was a Jew who got exposed to Buddhism via trade routes in Nazareth
