elucubra@sopuli.xyz 1 week agoThat’s a myth. DVDs tend to lose synchronicity if you don’t rewind them and always turn them the same direction. Why do you think there is subtitle timing adjustment in most media players?

It’s obviously becsuse different drives spin at different speeds so you may need to adjust the way it reads the disc so it plays back properly and not all sped up or down.
