I don’t understand how a quote from the article can be click-bait? Because it is a sensational statement? Sure, but he said that. He made that statement. He believes it. FFS.

just because someone interviewed believes something doesn’t absolve the writer from doing some level if work confirming the actual reality

plenty if ways to indicated doubt while remaining neutral

so and so claims is quite common
