Fisch@discuss.tchncs.de 3 weeks agoI just don’t think this is really worth celebrating. He was in the same party as Orban, their views aren’t that different except that he’s pro-EU and Orban wasn’t. It just feels like we’re celebrating that he’s not opposing our own interests anymore without actually caring for the people in that country.

From what Ive seen and heard of him, he will fight the Orban-induced corruption with all his power, which is very much in the interest of the people. Hopefully he doesnt build his own corrupt system, but we will see how it turns out.
