People get nervous when speaking in front of audiences, right? I know that while in TV, the audience is not present, but the person realizes they are being seen, so some nervousness is in place right?

At least here in Germany, these kinds of shows do have an audience present. They make sure to show that also their family and friends are all there, in the audience, watching and cheering.

They definitely go through a rehearsal and there surely are candidates that may not make the cut because they can’t handle the spotlight.
