Small PCs are crazy. There’s something so cool and novel about the size being so small they can almost fit in your palm.

Epic! I just set up a Vintage Story server yesterday myself. Same story, setting up the server took a while and we didn’t get to play that much. It’s up now though, and setting up a different game on that dedicated server should be take a lot less time, Administering Fedora Server through Cockpit has been very chill so far.
Look, it’s so tiny! It’s a HP ProDesk 600 G2 Mini (i5-6500t, 16GB en 480GB SSD). I let it pregen 1000 chunks outward this night so exploring wouldn’t tax the CPU as much, because I thought that would be a weak spot :).

Noice! Any tips for a total beginner like me/us? Just fired my first big clay pot, the 12 storage one, to give you an idea of my profession.

I’m replying to let you know I’ve seen this, but I can’t type the response I want to right this instant. It’s going to be like 6-8 hours before I probably have the chance, but I’ll totally share some guidance!!

If I’d start over I’d give myself these 3 tips:
Use the map actively to note down everything, big trees, different stones, warm/cold/rain areas, prospecting later on too, is very helpful. A fully fledged out map saves a lot of time later.
First order of business as in any survival game is food then shelter. Berry bushes can also be picked up.
If you find copper bits on the surface, dig down :)

Thanks, that helps! With 4 player’s we’re living right at the edge of starving to death and foor becomes scarce fast. good thing we started planting crops ASAP, plus we have a hundred berry plants next door now.
