Saw the cat. He was kinda following me but by the time I got ready he was gone. Little shit.
I should have just made the RSPCA report.

why so angry

Because Iāve gone through a decent amount of distress and disruption (not to mention expense) as a result of his āvisitsā and donāt even get the chance to help him.
spoiler
I first discovered that heād infected me with ringworm in Melbcatās last week, right before she went into hospital for the last time and died. So instead of being able to relax with her before that I was frantically laundering everything to protect her health while she cried for me to come to bed. I came back long enough to settle her and then went back to working. Then I had to upend my entire house and deep clean the spores instead of having the time to mourn her. The infection came back. Then he was crying at my door on a rainy night so I removed all traces of her trying to get everything put in the other room and to create a warm dry space indoors if he needed one. Now he decides heād rather do whatever he wants rather than be treated. And his owners donāt care that heās out after curfew, sick, and hunting native birds. And if he comes back the potential for him to reinfect me or my house still remains.
Screw me for caring I guess. This has made a hard stressful time even harder. I think Iām done trying to help anyone for a while.

Itās not his fault but it was a really shitty thing to go through right before and after my own cat died.

If he wants to stay away and reject help he can do that. Iām so sad and tired.
I avoided going into animal rescue or the veterinary field because I wasnāt able to tolerate seeing the inevitable neglect and abuse. But one day if Iām ever in better shape I might volunteer to foster.
After Melbcat I do have experience and skills with animals needing specialised care.
