Comment on How did Greek or Roman choose their gods besides the big name ones? I mean did they have a god of shoes, god who relieves constapation, or one for there squeaky door?

How do Catholics choose their patron saints? Same deal.
I recently learned of patrón saint of coconut harvesters that protects them when they’re high up in the trees from having any mishaps.
