The names of things rarely have any actual meaning behind them, especially not political names, which were originally chosen to make people think they were patriotic for supporting said party. Or are chosen by the opposition.
But yes, the tensions that caused the war did exist before the shots were fired, that’s how civil wars work. And yes, reconstruction was halted and reversed by Johnson.
But the TLDR, being a defeatist is worse than useless, work towards a better tomorrow today. Also, civil wars, the kind with neighbors shooting neighbors and all, are fucking nightmares. Don’t try to start it all early, it will come all too soon on its own, the fascists will make sure of it.

I do declare, I’m not defeatist. The disassembly of the zionist yank empire will be the single greatest victory for humankind anyone has seen in generations. I believe that makes me an optimist, as indeed it is about as hard to accomplish as treating stage IV cancers.
For those actually stoned: the USA and Israel (their powerstructures, not all the inhabitants) are compared to being a stage IV cancer to the world in that clever metaphor).
The 2 party system may have some educated sophisticated explanation of how it came to be, I am taking about why it sustained itself over there, while our slightly more functioning democracies quickly saw the creation of different parties across a much wider political spectrum.
If you smoked my brand, you would see that the most divided nation on earth is called the United States, in a very similar way the Peoples Republic of China is not by, of or for said Peoples.
Also, the fascists this time are very incompetent, so I will help start it, for it looks like that’s the only way to save the remaining part of the humans who never wanted anything to do with the rotten Mango problem.
