meandering@lemmy.world 2 days agoThe last one I saw said “they will never be able to breach the ocean above” They are so so far beyond help, no amount of evidence will convince them. You could literally put one of these people on the moon and they would call it a simulation or something.

Years ago my brother worked for the Obama administration and had a fairly unrestricted access to the Capitol Building.
He took us on a tour.
Every time an actual tour group would come by he’d loudly point at a door and say “and this is where the moon landing was filmed”
idk how many people left that day with a story about how they overheard someone confirming the moon landing was faked … but I hope it is more than a few.
