loweffortname@lemmy.blahaj.zone 22 hours agoApparently (and this is from memory, so caveat emptor) when young the balls can be uneven. During puberty, one might say “Oh no! I must become even!” and twist up on itself.
This is resovled (at least in my case) with a local anesthetic and manual untwisting. Followed by a procedure where they sew your balls to your sack so they can’t try it again.

Eek! Reminds me of a horrifying story I read of a single mother who’s 15 year old son had this. She took him to the ER and they said it was gas and to leave. He ended up needing his dead testicle removed.
Fucking scared me. That poor mom. That poor kid. 😢
