plantfanatic@sh.itjust.works 1 day agoIt’s pretty confusing. Not everything is taxed, clothing and food aren’t for example, but processed food is. So they can’t include the price? Not every province is the same either, some have pst exemptions, some include both together as an hst.
I’m in AB where it’s simple and you just add 5%.

Honestly this is exactly like the united states, thats why I used a weighted average tax - the taxes can be different county by county, although usually not by more than 3%…
