fleck@lemmy.world 12 hours agoWhen you can only commute with a car, yeah it’s dumb. However, I have a daily commute of 1 hour with my bicycle and it’s a great way to get some exercise. In this regard it’s forcing me to move my body, which I otherwise probably wouldn’t in my free time. Gym of life.

What kind of dumb argument is that? If you worked from home you could still take a morning and afternoon bike ride. And you could actually go some place new or run an errand.

As I said, I personally wouldn’t do that in my free time, especially not every single day… because I’m too lazy haha
