IAmNorRealTakeYourMeds@lemmy.world 1 day agoyhea, I will agree that body shaming is bad. and it won’t prevent the reasons people get mody dysmorphia. just that those are the most hateful human beings on the planet, and they openly want me removed from the nation and rip my daughters away. so I genuinely do not care for their feelings. the world would be a much better place with them not in it.

I get that. To me, empathy is a ressource. If you put it into every little thing, you’ll eventually run out. I dont think you have to feel sorry for them. Understanding why theyre so fucked up and hateful can put things into perspective, but it doesn’t excuse their actions.
