Comment on Why are flat earthers so badly harassed and ridiculed by globers?
TheSaltyArdvark@feddit.online 1 day agoI would be okay with globers if they weren’t so hostile when it comes to their beliefs. Ultimately it doesn’t matter that some people believe the Earth is round, while the rest of us know it’s flat. What matters is being able to talk about it in a way that is constructive and that isn’t abusive or name-calling.

It matters because it’s symptomatic of the kind of people who deliberately spread misinformation. Either because their mouths are bigger than their brains, or just because they’re utter c*nts.
