The police should themselves be charged over this. If they aren’t, they can continue stifling free expression and create a chilling effect. It doesn’t matter if their victim ends up criminally charged, even the threat and the disruption to their business or daily life is enough.

Not sure, but I think they’d have more luck with a civil suit, which they should absolutely do, just so there’s some kind of pushback.
