greyscale@lemmy.sdf.org 4 days agoIts actually wilder than that, some people have aphantasia where they can’t imagine shapes or forms in their mind. If you describe a dog, they do not have a mental image of the dog.

I have thoughts that I hear, but I can’t picture images in my mind. Like I know what a dog looks like, but I can’t see it

You my friend, have aphantasia. IIRC its about 1-3% of the population.
