three@lemmy.zip 11 hours agoI think “being ableist” implies a sort of intention or motivation. On the internet, where the only thing I can see is a username, I think it’s pretty much impossible to assume I was being ableist from one comment.
That being said, if I were to say something ableist knowing what I know now, then yeah, feel free to scream and call me an asshole.
I only said what I said because lemmy is inundated with memes that have had all the “bad words” censured.

The real, honest question is: did it hurt you in any way, or were you just being morally superior about your ability to use curse words with your fine manual dexterity.
Before I was calling you out on being an a****** I was pointing out that you’re ignorant. Voice transcription by default usually has censorship. I just live with it because I really don’t give a s***. When you complained about all the things you don’t know, this is an actual reasonable one because of f*** ton of able people use voice transcription because it’s convenient.
Please don’t come in twice clearly as the worst person, and then act in contrite like you’re the better person. It doesn’t work because that’s clearly not you.
