kutt@lemmy.world 14 hours agoYep but he UX is the problem here, the homepage used to be the translator. Fortunately, you can fix this by bookmarking the /translator page.
I didn’t complain about that huge pop-up that shifts the whole UI down so you have to either close it or scroll down, but it’s becoming worse and worse.

Ok I see what you mean. On mobile it still opens the translator but on desktop it’s pretty annoying.

I hope they never touch the mobile app ever. Upgrade the ai model? Add new languages? Sure! But please no ads or popups. Even Apple’s suite is making AI ads now…
