Comment on Why is it I feel a tiny bit of empathy for the Guthries but really don;t care at all because people get kidnapped/ransomed every day, what makes he so special besides her daughter?

  I bet you haven’t been to a “big city” more than once in the last 5 years. People are not regularly getting kidnapped off the streets of Chicago, and if you think they are you might want to look into where you’re getting your information from.

  The only people abducting people and holding them for ransom in Chicago and Seattle are ICE agents.
