tell it to me at the first day and i will. the thing is if you work with pdf you better know how to use pdf format. your competence should be part of the reason why you earn more. if your boss works with a computer for more than a year and still struggles it’s not a sign of “i don’t need to know that”, but idgaf. these people never needed to climb a ladder hence they don’t know shit about the environment in which they work and slow everybody else down.

If someone needs to save pdfs on a regular basis, they remember how to do it. If not, they don’t.

  You can’t be serious. I show people how to do their basic job functions every day and as soon as I’m out of eye contact that information falls right out of their heads. Sometimes it happens while I’m still standing there.

    also gaining information should be the bare minimum - don’t know how to save as pdf? use a search engine or even an ai, if nothing works.
    
    it feels exhausting to explain an easy task three times that could have been two lines, because they don’t want to know it - they take want the money but prey on your competence.
