Meeting with the place I do contract work for just finished. I asked for a bigger fee % for most types of projects I handle for them, plus now was the time to go for it with their resource shortages. I was pretty nervous, but prepared and I made my case. Now I want to hear what they say. If they say no, then I’ll just pick up less of their work and they can deal with the shortfall of their resources themselves. It’s not going to become my problem when they don’t incentivise me.
