BarbecueCowboy@lemmy.dbzer0.com 4 weeks agoI dunno, the ‘kid is intelligent enough to go to the fridge and get food themselves’ and ‘kid no longer craps their pants’ is a hell of an upgrade. I haven’t made it to a point where things are harder than it was before either of those things.

Yeah, at some point it should get easier, but if you have a troubling teen, again, things are challenging in a different way to managing tantrums in a toddle.
