I’ve been watching since being a kid watching TOS. I went to star trek conventions as a kid. I’ve missed a few series I didn’t have time for. I don’t really care how I would be categorized, and I don’t think most star trek fans would care either. I don’t think there’s any difference between liking some Star Trek and being a Trekkie. At least I’ve never heard anyone make the distinction. IMHO, if you get what Trek is about and can appreciate it, you are one of us, like it or not ;-).
