You’re probably right that testing for hallucinogens isn’t part of a standard employer drug test, but there’s nothing standard about pro sports drug testing. AFAIK, employer drug testing outside of pro sports is all about safety. But pro sports forbid performance-enhancing drugs. They also punish players suspected of not trying hard enough to win (e.g., load management, involvement with gambling). I hope we learn more to clarify this, although I respect PG’s privacy.
