  I detest how the media perpetuates myths about the society and economy and work and play. Why should the aims of big industry be our aims?

  There is so much work to do, like caring for others, like caring for our environment, like caring for plants and animals, but that is not considered real work as it’s impossible to glean a profit from it. And then there are the non work aspects of being human, like play and creation, but that is also mostly ignored unless there is profit to be made.

  I swear the lies that get pushed makes me see red again but that is not the answer either. The answer is balance.

      why does the nightly news report stock market gains on a daily basis? Why should I care. Why not report wages on a daily basis or cost of living.

        You’re choosing to watch that you know. They report it because people watch it and their Super is tied to it.
