Witchfire@lemmy.world 7 months agoThe performer pages on FB are FULL of performers complaining about IG. No one likes this shit. Virtually every performer and show page ends up getting shadowbanned, restricted, permanently demonetized, or banned. It’s a shit show.

If there’s that many of you, then make something specific for your line of work. Make it a pixel fed instance, and use what working accounts you have to lure people to your site when they’re looking for performers.
Make it semi-centralized, don’t just all spread across the fediverse. It seems like a solid strategy to me /shrug
