People are getting massacred in Iran by thousands, by the hands of people like this guy, and you’re posting this video? If you want to learn more about what is happening in Iran you can ask me I’d be happy to explain. To put it shortly, the government has its own supporters, they get all the social benefits, get vip treatment, get loans and can even go to the university without an entrance exam. While everyone who’s not a part of the body of the government is treated as second degree citizen. People you see in these videos are all brought by buses from around the country so they can pretend they have a big supporter base. It is not true. They do bring 40-50k people every time (ofc they get some extra pay and benefits for showing up) and make this circus. This is a minority part of the country. Anybody standing up to the government gets abducted, tortured and murdered without anywhere to turn to for their family. As I’m typing this comment thousands have been murdered, protestor get shot daily. I’ve seen many videos of dead or dying people who’ve been shot. Videos which were posted by starlink since there is a total internet and phone lines shutdown for the past 5 days. I can’t even call to ask if my relatives are still alive. Do not fall for the bullshit propaganda, Iranians hate their government and are ready to die so we can have freedom.

Thank you for the nice wishes. To be fair, Middle East is always a complicated place, with so many sides claiming they’re the good guys. As an Iranian when I see that guy’s face all I can think is he’s a member of Sepah or Basij, the paramilitaries that are responsible for all the kidnapping, torture and murder that’s been happening in ky country. They have a distinct look, beards, the haircut, the shirts. Gives me shivers.

No the translation is accurate. I am not sure how old this video is, but the government is known for editing the photos of their own gatherings to make it look like a bigger crowd attended. They even used ai in their latest propaganda online.
