If you are going for baroque, I must insist that there be gilded papiermache cherubs at the corners - preferably blowing trumpets. Some nice scrollwork would be an advantage I feel. Strap & jewel work might not be quite the right vibe, but you can’t go wrong with roundels.

I am also considering a ridiculous mash of victorian cyberpunk and floral themes. The two apetures are going to be pop off windows, but i can get wonderfully baroque or gothic window films that I can put on the Perspex that’s going to be the windows. Also going to backlight them very subtly.

  Oooh, go hogwild! I would be very tempted to let Grinling Gibbons be my guide (see example) - but Victorian steampunk sounds pretty damn fantastic.
