xeekei@lemmy.zip 3 days agoI’d also allow people to pass if they come up behind me, but if I’m going slower than general traffic I’m not going to randomly slow down even more to piss people off, that’s just silly.

I don’t do it to piss people off. I do it because their behavior is dangerous and I would like to keep my insurance premium as low as possible. If I can’t see, or if the person behind me is putting me in a position where suddenly slowing down would be unnecessarily dangerous, I must slow down to the extent the law allows until I can pull off to the side. Motherfuckers around where I live tailgate like it is their hobby and will do it on the freeway with multiple open passing lanes.
