  He’s telling the truth for once. MLs don’t believe that workers should have agency over their lives or the revolution. They’re very much a top down belief system hence the “Tankie” part: ie enforcing political orthodoxy with the threat of violence against the workers.

    No. We just believe that adventurism isn’t a good tactic in bourgeois dictatorship, and we distinguish it from repression of capitalists by the dictatorship of the proletariat, i.e. by the state democratically representing the workers in power.

  Then you don’t support Russia, the China, or North Korea and you’re not a tankie, or you do support those entities and you’re lying about their activities, in either scenario that’s bullshit.

      Because China, Russia, and North Korea run psyops that either directly or indirectly harm western nations, such as by endorsing people who oppose or disadvantage the governments and peoples in those nations in any way and by doing anything in their power to decrease credibility and trust of those nation’s governments.

      Examples: China used it’s TikTok military op not only to collect and categorize americans (and other nations) but to directly endorse Donald Trump for president, followed by the largest shift rightward in young voters ever recorded. China wants Anarchy in the west, China wants an opportunity to grow their own borders unchecked and become the dominant global superpower.

        That’s your definition. To me, it means essentially “Marxist-Leninist who supports actually existing socialist projects”. I still fail to see what my views on some countries have to do with adventurism.
