This is one of those issues that effects a miniscule percentage of the population. But for those people, it has been shown to save lives and improve general happiness (You know the quote: “…certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”). Yet at the same time, there are swatches of hateful bigots that feed mindlessly on this swill and will base their entire vote on being able to shit on marginalized communities. It’s so fucking awful.
