Tridi 3 Nivôse an 234 de la Révolution, jour de Bitume
This is the December installment of the Buena Vista Wetshaving Social Club. The scent was bay-rummy to me, and seemed highly appropriate for this time of the year. The lather did not explode in the bowl as other US-artisan soaps use to do, but it produced a serviceable lather. I was asthonished that the second ingredient was beer 🍻
I used for the first time the asymmetric razor – I used it like it was a standard symmetric one, and that was probably not a good idea. I will have to check how such razors are supposed to be used, when you shave yourself.

It doesn’t bother me, but if you’re interested in making your posts display better in the PieFed web front end, now you know! It doesn’t seem to affect mobile apps or Lemmy, so it’s just PieFed that respects that particular markdown code.

I “ain’t no expert” (as we Americans say), but I think using a slant razor in the same way you use a standard one gives you the benefit of the “Gillette Slide” (slicing motion) without the need to actually slide across the face. Merry Christmas! Hope it is a good one for you.
